At Hope Chapel, audio and visual media are tools we use to create an atmosphere for people to easily engage in our services and focus their hearts upon the Lord. It is our privilege to use the gifts we have been given to worship the Lord and show His goodness to the world in creative ways.
Most volunteers serve between 1 to 2 times per month. Training is available and required. If you are interested in learning more or being a part of our Audio/Visual Team, please fill out the application below.
Front of House Engineer – A skilled position that requires setting up sound equipment, operating a state-of-the-art digital sound board during the services and the Worship Team rehearsal.
Graphics Technician – Responsible for showing all worship slides, videos, and message slides. This requires knowledge of operating Pro Presenter and possibly Power Point.
Graphic Designer – A skilled position that requires knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop. A portfolio or sample of previous work will be required.
Lighting Technician – Responsible for overseeing and controlling the lighting for our weekend services. It requires programming and operating our state-of-the-art digital light board.
Video/Livestream Operator – Requires set up and operation of video camera, recording of our weekend services, and operating a video switcher. Previous experience in video is helpful but not required.
Video Editor – A skilled position for someone who is familiar and has had previous experience with editing video. Must be proficient with Mac platform and Final Cut Pro.
Stage Sets and Design – Services often require stage decorations, building stage sets, relocation of instruments and lights, etc.
Program Director – Like an orchestra conductor, this position coordinates and communicates with the technicians during our weekend services, to eliminate distractions and create a seamless worship experience for all.
