Baptism

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
matthew 28:19-20

HandsRaisedLongshotBandFacingbeachBaptism is a symbol of one’s identification by faith with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. It is like a wedding ring-it is an outward symbol of the commitment you made in your heart to follow Jesus. If you’ve accepted Christ and have never been baptized, you’ve waited long enough! It’s time you followed His example and His command to be baptized. All of these beach baptism celebrations will be at Kamaole III Park beach in Kihei.

Hundreds from our congregation show up to join in the event, which involves singing, hula and then baptism in the Pacific Ocean.  A potluck lunch follows, along with volleyball, swimming, and enjoying the beach. Whether you’re just visiting, a resident, or a member of Hope Chapel, all are welcome to take part in Baptism. If you’d like to let us know you’d like to be baptized, please fill out the form below.
