At Hope Chapel we put the same priority on children as Jesus did – Very Important!
We strive to present Bible based truths in a fun, energetic fashion. We provide children’s classes and activities at all of our weekend services as well as during the week and some monthly events. We are committed to doing the best we can to impact the children’s lives who come to Hope Chapel with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our ministry is run almost 100% with volunteers. We welcome additional Children’s Ministry Teachers and Helpers all year round! We have excellent resources and curriculum. No experience is necessary – we will train you.
The Coast is led by Children’s Director Toni Spence and Children’s Assistant Director Jena Luplow, and assisted by Debbie Brittain.
What is our Children’s Ministry teaching?
Friday Nights: Classes are taking a journey through the entire Bible using The Gospel Project curriculum. We started in Genesis and we are now learning about prophets. Through it all we are seeing Jesus in each of our teachings.
Sunday Mornings: We use “252 Basics” upstairs as we develop our Christian character through studies of Biblical encounters of the Old and New Testaments. Downstairs, we use “Elevate Jr.” to learn the Bible through topical teachings.
Our AWANA Program has started!
On Wednesday at AWANA, we lead kids to know, love, and serve Christ through long-term discipleship. Add in fun events, family activities, lots of food, and plenty of prayer, and we hope to grow a community of kids who follow Christ and make an impact to those around them.
