Hope Chapel’s Benevolence Fund
What does benevolence mean?
Benevolence means charitable kindness.
Hope Chapel’s Benevolence Fund helps those who find themselves in temporary financial hardship. It is funded entirely by our members and others who give to this fund. If you have a heart to help the less fortunate, please consider donating to the Benevolence Fund.
We would like those who are applying for the Benevolence Fund to come to the church office during office hours (Tue. -Fri, 9a-5p) and fill out an application. Please review the information on the form before coming into the office. (Under certain circumstances, You may send the filled out form to us by email, to firstname.lastname@example.org.)
When can I expect to hear back from someone?
Applications generally take one week for review. You will recieve a call after the review.
Please wait for a call before coming back in or calling in.
Does everyone get approved for assistance?
Unfortunately, no. Hope Chapel is a non-profit organization which relies on donations from its members and others in the community to operate. We are not usually able to provide as much assistance as is needed. Every applicant is encouraged to seek other forms of financial assistance from other sources and agencies.
What number can I call to check on my application?
You may call 879-3853, ext. 226, and leave a message for Pastor Craig Mauck there. Please do not call the main office line, as the volunteer receptionist will not have any information about your application. We ask for your patience in waiting for a call back.
