DAILY DEVOTIONAL:

We're so excited that you joined us on the blog! Today we have a new devotional from one of our interns, JD Polzin.

UNITED PRAYER:

Let's pray for God’s Kingdom to come & for His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. Father, help us to follow You and Your ways today. We pray for Your will to be done in our lives, only Your way. Help us to be in tune with You and walk in step with You. Help us to have eyes to see & ears to hear. We pray that You would continue adding people into Your kingdom today. Use us God, help us to be teachable and moldable in Your hands. May we be fully Yours today.

FAMILY RESOURCES:

Intentional activities at home by Mila Espinosa

-Make a memory box Grab a shoe box, empty cereal box, any box that you can fill with memories. You can paint highlights on it, write favorite quotes or verses, and add pictures (you can print pictures from your phone at Walmart, Costco, Target, etc.). Add in prayers as well or anything else that you find significant. Personally, I add wristbands in mine from concerts or camps. As it grows, it is so fun to look back on. Don't forget to add dates to remember!

-Reach out to your friends and family Now is a great time to reach out and check up on your friends and family. Write down prayer requests & pray. The next time you check up on them refer to your prayer and see if the Lord answered! If they are not a follower of Christ you never know how the Lord can work. You can also invite them on a walk via Zoom, grab some coffee together, or do a workout via FaceTime or Zoom.

-Plan an intentional surprise for someone you care about You can also choose to bless someone by thinking of something that would mean a lot to them. This could be making a meal for someone or ordering one for them to be delivered, writing a card or note. Picking up their favorite snack or treat. You can get really creative with this one! Even the smallest gesture can be very thoughtful. Have no idea where to start? Listen intentionally this week to what your spouse, kids, or friends talk about the most, or what they get excited about, and jot down a few notes. You'll be surprised what you hear!

VERSES OF HOPE:

Here are some verses that we can all meditate on today. Go forward & encourage others!

Proverbs 16:9 “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.”
Matthew 6:9-13 "Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us today the food we need, and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one."
