DAILY DEVOTIONAL:

Ben Prangnell leads us through a timely devotional today. Let us know in the comments what the biggest takeaway was for you!

UNITED PRAYER:

It’s a big calling on us as Christians. We talk about it, do it, and depend on it, but every now and then we may find ourselves stepping back and asking God, "How do I pray?”

Take some time to think about prayer and to ask the question the disciples asked in Luke saying, "Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.” Look at the list and the corresponding scriptures below. Are there any that stick out to you? Which ones do you struggle with? Which ones do you want to dive deeper into? Take some time to and pick five to highlight and explore the scriptures around them.

Then take some time to pray and be in the presence of God.

Some things prayer isn’t:
Prayer isn’t limited (Philippians 4:6)
Prayer isn’t time or place dependent (1 Timothy 2:8)
Prayer isn’t easy (Psalm 40:1)
Prayer isn’t fake (1 John 5:14)

13 Minute, 3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies
Ingredients:

1 cup sugar
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 egg

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment or with a silicone baking mat.

In a medium bowl, mix the sugar, peanut butter and egg together until well incorporated.

Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place on the prepared baking sheet.
Using the back of a fork, make a criss-cross pattern on each cookie.

Bake for 12 minutes.

Cool the cookies on the baking sheet for a minute or two before transferring to a wire rack.

Other Notes:
These cookies will not spread, so they can be placed about an inch or so apart when baking.

STORY OF HOPE: ROBERT'S STORY OF HOPE | God will uphold you

During this time, God has been challenging Robert to consider what is really important in life. He is grateful for the CR family & knows he can turn to them for encouragement and the reminder that he is not alone.

"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.
Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you.
I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."
