Greeting from your Children’s Ministry Co-Directors. We wanted to wish you a Happy New Year.

This has been a challenging and very fruitful year for our Children’s Ministry. Because of the effects of Covid 19 we plunged into the world of writing our own curriculum along with Family Devotionals. We hope they blessed your family.

We ended the year with our “Awe and Wonder of Jesus” Family devotional booklets that we pray opened up the meaning and experience of Christmas and Jesus’ birth to you.

We partnered with Vertical Sports to add the small group element to their Monday Basketball and Tuesday Soccer clinics. We loved the hands-on time with them.

We opened up two outdoor classes at our Saturday night live service that brought us full circle as we started our children’s ministry 40 years ago on the grassy area of the Old Kihei School. The same starting place for ministry twice now.

In the coming year we are going to be focusing on the life of Jesus. We will partner again with Gospel Project curriculum and add some of our own elements to help kids grow in their understanding of the nature and character of Jesus.

Thank you for being part of our ministry. It is still our joy to minister to and have relationships with your kids and help to support you as you lead your kids in their spiritual development. If you have any ideas for us that would help you in this process, please send them our way. We promise to give consideration and prayer to every idea.
