A message from our lead pastor
Aloha Church Family,
The kids are out of school and the island is full of activity!
We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to serve thousands from our community both spiritually and physically through our food distribution in a time of great need. I am so happy to report that the numbers of those needing groceries have dropped drastically as folks have gone back to work. The Maui Food Bank is shifting their focus to help families in need through other programs in the community and will serve people directly from their warehouse and local public schools. Therefore, our last food distribution is scheduled for Thursday June 24th.
Special note: Feed My Sheep will continue to offer prayer and food in our parking lot every Saturday morning.
I am also excited to share that Alpha will be beginning on Monday nights starting July 12. Alpha is a 10-week course exploring the essentials of the Christian faith and the big questions of life. There will be a short video presentation followed by dessert and discussion under the tent in the courtyard. Invite someone you know that you would like to introduce to Jesus! You can sign up here.
Sports Camp will be happening July 19-23 this year at Hope Chapel! Vertical Sports and Hope Chapel Kids have worked together to put on an amazing camp for kids ages 4-14. They are excited to offer 8 different sports to choose from. You can find more info at verticalsportsmaui.com or you can sign up here!
This weekend Jan Apo will be teaching from Matthew 16:13-19 and we are looking forward to a great time of worship together! Join us tonight in person at 6:30pm or Sunday morning 8:30am in person or online.
